Things people say about me:
“Credit for [these newsletters’] success goes primarily to the main writer, Larry Lindner, who is very gifted at making difficult medical topics accessible and interesting to lay audiences.”
— John Berg, DVM, editor-in-chief, Tufts University’s Your Dog and Tufts University’s Catnip
“With humor and good will (and periodic shipments of cookies and carrot cake), Larry drew from us the bits and pieces of our lives and then turned them into storytelling that we couldn’t be happier with.”
— Ron Danta and Danny Robertshaw (subjects of the film Life in the Doghouse) on their memoir, Forever Home
“One of Larry’s best qualities is that he’s a great listener. But when we brainstorm ideas for my newsletter, blog, or other outreach channels, he’s not just listening. He is already thinking about how an idea can best be mined. He’s picking up on small comments I make that I may find insignificant but that he knows will give me an edge with people I’m trying to reel in — clients, designers, contractors. And he asks the right questions to bring out my own particular approach. A fabulous sounding board, he copywrites for me in a way that creates buzz and gets people to reach back out.”
— Daniel G. Steger, Founder and Principal,
DGS/a Architecture + Design
“Larry’s superior work has won our company two prestigious Contractor of the Year awards from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. One of Larry’s particular strengths is his ability to interview ultra high-end clients, make them feel comfortable about telling their story of engaging our firm, and then receive permission from them to use their remarks about our work as centerpieces in our marketing and advertising materials.”
— Eric Adams, co-founder, Adams + Beasley Associates, Custom Builders
“I have had the pleasure of working directly with Larry Lindner when he was the Executive Director of the Boston Literary District. With incredible good humor and tireless effort, Larry moved the team though the launch process — mission, vision, budgeting, fundraising, grant writing, City of Boston hearing processes, and the State of Massachusetts approval processes. Once the district was officially recognized, Larry took on external communications. Again, he was amazing: creative, strategic, organized, and resourceful. His contributions include his strategic thinking, his creative mind, his superb interpersonal and group leadership skills, his finely honed writing skills, and his sly wit and disarming good humor.”
— Rob Sabal, former Dean of the School of Arts, Emerson College
